Nektir publishes only reviewed consumer brands. Products whose brand is unresolved remain searchable, but they do not appear in the brand directory and return null brand identifiers.

Browse or search brands

Each row includes a stable brand ID and slug, current product and family counts, represented category IDs, and the latest successful inventory retrieval among its products. Counts and timestamps belong to the response’s X-Publication-Revision.
Use category_ids to build a category-specific directory. Sorting is deterministic with sort=name or sort=-name; follow the opaque cursor in meta.page.next_cursor.

Load reviewed aliases

Brand detail adds aliases, the public reviewed spellings used by search. Candidate, rejected, and internal matching rules are never returned. An alias may describe a marketed title while the reviewed brand represents a parent identity, so applications should display name and treat aliases as search/navigation metadata.

Browse products and families

Use the returned stable ID instead of sending brand text back to the API:
One brand can span multiple categories and product families. Brand, producer, corporate owner, and product family remain separate concepts.
